The kief catcher itself has a series of vertical slits, where all the pollen will fall into when you ground your herb. How it works:
To use this beast of a grinder, all you have to do is place your herb in the top part and twist the bottom part until your herb becomes powder. The more you grind, the more refined your final product will be! You have a choice of how fine you want it. Keep twisting. It couldn't be easier than that!
The sifter mesh screen is what allows you to have all of that kief in one place when your grinder is not in use. But how does it work? The idea behind the screen is simple: as your herb falls through, it will break up, but some particles will be too big to pass through the holes of the screen. These bigger particles will fall into the pollen catcher, also known as the kief catcher. The more refined your herb is ground before it enters this section, the higher quantity of kief you'll have in there!
